Bob Ingram Porsche collection in NC damaged
I first heard about it on Rennlist; about a gas pipeline explosion in Durham, NC, that may have involved an amazing collection of Porsches owned by Bob Ingram. Some of us were able to see the collection as part of a Drive&Dine to NC, to visit the Porsche By Design exhibit at the NC Museum of Art several years ago. Ingram had several cars displayed at the museum exhibit.
According to this article, the explosion did affect Ingram's building. https://www.bloomberg.com/news/artic...-gas-explosion Sadly, 1 person died and 15 were injured. Not certain if the incident happened in Ingram's building versus adjacent. Bob and his family were amazing hosts when we visited.
