Default Vintage look 911 rs seat recommendations

Does anyone have any experience with any of the options out there? Cobra, GTS, Vintage? Some guy on ebay? All Kinds of options, belt prep, hounds tooth, corduroy... tube framed or fiberglass...from 900 a pair to 3500 a pair. Would love to hear feedback and possibly check some out in person. Pixs of your installs ... Thanks for your help

Might want to add if you intend using the car on the track. the 4 point harness shown would be allowed in most cases.

Full understanding of race requirements here( project is a 1973 decommissioned 911 race car ), seats will be used for the street, C&C, autocross and maybe a FATT. The car is fitted with a 6 point OG Racing Bolt in /Welded plate cage and 5 point belts, fuel cell, lexan windows fiber glass body work ... window net prep was removed.

An approved race seat will/ maytbe swapped out for " track days " if that ever happens ...

That said, we would like seats that have lap belt openings as seats without the belt penetrations seem awkward with lap belts, do to the high hip bolsters, any experience there? do the belts chaff the vinyl bolsters? do the belts fit "low and tight across your hips"?

The sub belt will be used with the Momo race seat in the of chance a track day is in the cards...

There seems to be two types of "RS" aftermarket seats, First there is a tube frame construction, the cheap(er) seats. And the fiberglass molded seats, aka Vintage, are like the originals. Concern is with fit finish, construction quality and mounting prep hardware..blah blah. Options for lap belt and shoulder hardness "management" understanding that its not an remotely approved race seat.

Vintage are high quality. But the seat business is not a priority for the owner. He is also owner of a shop specializing in older P cars, especially race prep for vintage series like HSR and SVRA. He was supporting a lot of cars at the Mitty. Very slow to get your seats much less a call back.

GTS, run like a business that means business. Responsive owner and staff. Quick turn around. Fair prices. I have a pair of their fake sport seats, love them.
