If you hate deer it is because you do not know how to cook them right.

Was he in that drive to the track? About a dozen Ferraris (including an F40), some Lambos, 3 Panteras, lots of others (I saw one black 944 track car parked with them so walked over and said "hi" to the above poster).

A clean weekend for me, no metal-to-metal and no offs. Did okay on Saturday (very close race with a friend, who caught me just at start/finish and beat me by .03 seconds), but Sunday just kept it clean without advancing positions. My paddock buddy and good friend (vying for 3rd in the regional championship, out of 50 cars in our class) was knocked off track by a bonehead move by another driver and hit the wall in Turn 6 HARD, fracturing one of his spinal bodies--he'll be in a brace for at least 3 months but at least he didn't need surgery. For those not aware, Winchester Medical Center is a Level 1 Trauma Center, is HUGE, and my friends and I were quite impressed.

Veering back to bicycling. FWIIW I just finished a few days of riding in Michaux SF and Pine Grove Furnace. We were on dirt/gravel 90% of the time and saw nobody. The region lends itself to that magic "ouch" factor of 100' gain per mile traveled. This is my new favorite place to avoid people.
