Default Introdouche Yourself

it's self explanatory. introductions are nice.

it has occured to me that it would be much easier to localize new members in one area, so this is the place... this is a fairly close core of auto enthusiasts (geographically as well as socially) so names help move things along nicely. what type of vehicle you're talking about would be useful as well...

just pulled a few recent ones and put them together so you may see topics meander... normal occurrence

here is a post from maurice that starts it:

i'm still back on Pelican and Rennlist every now and then..
this looks like a great forum for the locals!

hope to spend more time/events w/ you folks this year, especially DE's..

looking to do an oil change this weekend and set the front rotors I bought off Marc A last year.

best regards to all,
Maurice

Hey Maurice - glad to see you've found our new playground. Good luck with the projects this weekend and we'll see you on the road soon.

That's too easy. We can schedule your engine drop as soon as we get
Charlie's out of the way.

Default Introduction...

All,

I would like to introduce myself to everyone here, although we have probably met in person and have been lurking on the site for a little while.

I've been an active member of the Potomac region for about 4 years and on Rennlist for the past two, when a local friend of mine (rennlist and PCA) suggested I check out this board and it is great to read what local folks are thinking about and doing.

Just a little intro to let you know that I'm here and look forward to seeing you all at the track soon.

-Skip

OK,
I've tracked down Skip's home address from the VIN number on his p-caronline page. Who has the engine stand? I want my first real participating drop to be on a nice, clean engine. Have we done a car this new yet???

Welcome Skip!

BTW: Since you're on the south side of the river, I'd like to see photos of how you hardwired your V1.

Steve, isn't it your turn for an engine drop. We can't leave you out, you know we have to drop that sucker to find out why she won't start. It could be more than just the CDI box!
Welcome to the board Skip, these are a great bunch of people!
