Charley Murphy at Intersport reports that Jim did drop off a 1969 911T 2-liter magnesium case to have it machined with oil squirters installed. So, he has it and Barbara can call him at 703-242-8684 ext 4. Charley was very saddened to hear about Jim. Barbara: don't hesitate to let us know if we can help with anything.

I just now saw this. I am so sorry to hear about Jim -- I really liked the guy. I had such a great time karting with him a few years back; the memory stuck with me. My best to you and your family, Barbara.

He was a long-time volunteer of Club Race, as well. Such a super nice guy. Peaceful and tranquil personality.

GONE: This list got too long.

So, on a related note, I've been working with Jim's wife, and I've bought the orange #80 car. My lift is on the way, and I'm hoping to post up a build thread in the not-so-distant future, once everything is in place. I'll keep you posted.
