Just got the pca Club Racing magazine in the mail.
On page 53 is the ad for "Rock the Summit" Club Race. Maybe next year mention in the ad that it is at Summit Point Raceway, in Summit Point, WV. Just an idea.

What a fantastic weekend. Highs and lows like only a hobby you are passionate about can bring you.
Of course all the volunteers make all this happen. THANK YOU! Ken has assembled an outstanding team and the shear scope of the event they put on is just awesome. The whole thing ran like clockwork. No pace car mishaps. No grid mishaps. Enough food and drink for everyone. Registration was super smooth. My wife commented that when she arrived she was greeted and registered out by the gate and directed where to go which she appreciated. It all just ran beautifully. Kudos to each and every one of you. And a heartfelt thank you. I had hoped to make a run at getting my track record back but the gods were against me. A wet track Saturday morning when the temps were conducive to success flummoxed my plans. So that interloping steer humping Texan's record stands another year. Dammit. As for the races, after qualifying on pole for Sprint 1 I was robbed, ROBBED, of certain victory by a ring of plastic that apparently holds the entire shifting mechanism together. One the last lap. After leading the whole race. So I pulled off so as not to bring out a yellow and screw up anyone's last lap dash for position or victory. Soul crushing But my soul was vigorously inflated at the evening dinner when I received the coveted Worker's Choice Award for Sprint 1. That really means a lot to any driver on track. Thank you to all who voted for me. Sprint 2 went well though. Stayed on pole and lead start to finish. That's the points race so I'm pretty happy with that. Sunday was ugly. Rain. Lots of it. Not a fan. At all. I survived and hung onto 3rd. All in all I'm not too disappointed with that but I needed to win a dry race with at least 10 SPB's to end up 3rd nationally. That would not stand as other races are going on around the country but it would have put me in a better spot going into the Daytona weekend. I was surrounded by the usual cast of aholes. Always good fun and shenanigans. Thanks to Steve for crewing the enduro and making my wipe stick and Scott for his radio work. The videos are boring but here they are:
