Default 928 help in Southern MD Urgent

I need advice. I inherited my Dad's 1982 928. It needs a tow ASAP and an expert to look over it. It is in Southern MD now, but am willing to tow in DC area to the best person to work on it. Appreciate any recommendation as the car holds great sentimental value to me.

There's a number of good shops in the area. The one I typically use for P-car work is Intersport in Tysons Corner. 703-242-8680. If available, ask to speak with Charlie or Omar. They also interface with a number of shops in the area, and may even be able to help you find something closer to Southern MD.

Good luck. Also consider visiting Rennlist Forum. They have a pretty healthy 928 community who may be able to provide some guidance, too.

I hope you're able to keep the legacy alive.

What's the problem with the 928?

Is it an automatic or a manual?

There are a lot of failure points on a 928, just trying to compute.

Tri-Tech Automotive in Annapolis is good with 928's.

Although not local to Southern MD. Taylor Chapman at Chapman Autoworks in Sterling Va. also knows 928's.

I second the advice to post in the 928 group at Rennlist. The depth of knowledge there is amazing and there are a lot of experienced 928 owners in the DC area active on that forum.
