Default WTB: Most clapped out, highest mileage, beat up 911 SC Coupe I can get my hands on

As Ferris Bueller famously said, “sometimes you have to ask yourself is the juice worth the squeeze?”

WTB: The most clapped out, highest mileage, beat up 911 SC Coupe I can get my hands on

***Any air-cooled clapped out 911 will work for us***

Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled mess yearning to breathe free on the track. The wretched refuse is what we want.

Aside from a balled up total or a rust bucket POS, we will look at anything

Thank you,

Bumping this up to see if anything interesting is available.

My youngest - James, aka the Bullitt Mustang pilot, turns 18 next summer. An old clapped out 911 seems like a good idea

What could possibly go wrong

Karl: What is your price range? I know of a cosmetically challenged 85 Carrera down by me. Around 105K miles on the clock, but rough paint, and a crack or two in the dash.

Here you go!

https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1978-porsche-911-6/

If a non numbers matching completed resto-mod backdate with fiberglass bits goes for that much, how must does an actual long hood with a 3.0 go for these days??

He'd be better off getting in front or with the next trend - building a 924GTS clone / Rally car from a cheap 924 track car.. if only there was one around here for sale.

I thought "cheap" aircooled parts cars start at $30K these days..

You have obviously been away from the track for a very long time if you think a 924 is acceptable for HPDE

If we were planning to drop that much on a POS he would just use one of the other cars
