Cool, hope it works out. I road it maybe 100 yds around the driveway and that was the first time it moved. Reminds me of what I used to deliver newspaper with years ago.

Here she is with new tires and used rear brake pads. She is rolling but both wheels are out of round. A few of the spokes are rusted and it looks like we are better off replacing both rims.

Anyone have an extra set of 26” mountain bike rims, seven speed, Shimano - that they don’t need?

Sometimes you can’t make this stuff up. While sorting this ^^^ bike out for Patrick, son number two, Joseph managed to get his bike run over by the bus while on his way to class. Fortunately he was on the bus and not on the bike 👍

So we are looking for another cheep disposable bike for a college kid to ride to and from school.

Projects welcome, I think Joseph’s bike is FUBAR!

Ouch. I'll keep my eyes peeled. On the avg. I "rescue" 4 or 5 bikes a year from the curb. I'll contact you if I find something.

I still think that College Park Bikes is the way to go if you want something that is sorted and not too expensive.

Bumping this up just to see if anyone has an old bike hanging around collecting dust.

We have most of the parts to put together another single speed and are looking for a suitable road bike frame 54-56 cm.

The last bike came from Chris and was doing duty at UMD in College Park until they shut the place down.

Another frame came from Hugh and cleaned up nicely she is ready for spring training.



We are looking to put together another single speed for one for the boys.

Anyone have a cheap road bike that they do not need?

I'll sell you back this Specialized that I got from you for the same price I paid for it . Matthew's out of school now and it's just gathering dust in the garage.
