Sorry, I do not remember (and I am not sure how similar the setups are between our washers, since mine is a 15+-year-old maytag). I rented a bearing tool and purchased a bearing kit from a guy who runs a web site called neptunebearing.com, or something similar. It either included instructions or I read them off his web site.
