Interesting in light of an driverless UBER car recently mowing down and killing a lady in a cross walk.

That is why there is a big screen on the dash -- so the passengers can watch the mayhem on TV for entertainment.

Imagine the voice activated controls. Listen to the wrong music and you are playing bumper cars. I wonder how it would work when I crank the Rage?

No thanks, I'll still with old, antiquated cars please.

I suppose one could come up with a set of algorithms and control laws that would work with some confidence in a rather simple use case - 10 mph in city traffic but I worry about the more complex cases of 495 in a morning commute where there are 10 of these things mixed in with 1000 cars - the regression testing of the software or all the edge cases would be impossible and if you missed one - the results would be massive. Honestly, I am trying to understand the problem they are trying to solve here.

innovation for the sake of innovation! Create some cool stuff then figure out how to sell it.
