Charlie, I thought we determined that your fan pully takes a 24mm...or was it a 25mm?

Jim's right . . . it's probably a 24mm. I just have a very bad memory for these kind of things. That's why I have a whole bunch of tools I don't need cause I can't remember the size of things.

Don't ever ask me about a torque value because that will be wrong as well . . . thats what books are for.

it is a 24....i verified before calling the hardware store, and yes they were open ....thats why they are my favorite

They had a 23 and a 25, no 24mm., they are still my favorite. Bill's home is a bit too far to walk in the snow, so I'll try a cresent with the hex. Kinda doubt it will work, but gives me an excuse to head back into my cave. The GF is in her cave studying, so its OK

Charlie, is that Cherrydale HW? They're pretty good there.

Sorry my fan pulley wrench is unobtainable for you today. It's resting in the front of my car, which is buttoned up in the garage. There are some projects I should be doing on it, but it's too cold in that unheated garage today.

Yes, its Cherrydale HW. They have just about every metric fitting you can think of, and they are quite nice to boot.

I spent the day on the phone with Pelican Parts ordering parts for my 914 ... What a nice change from the work / school routine.

Everyone drive safe out there!
