All you recent race car buyers, how do I transfer the AMB transponder number on the 993 to my name?

Didn't you keep your transponder from the S2??
If not, see if its possible to trade with the buyer - your original from the S2 for the one from the 993. That way your MyLaps stuff all stays together [less important] and you don't get reamed by AMB for their ridiculous transfer fees [important].

New car came with one so I let the old one go. Kind of cool that I have Grand Am results from 7 years ago with the old owner.

I paid nothing. I just registered it as mine on Mylaps.

I was under the impression that AMB will inform me when thet transfer the transponder. I completed the form and paid on March 6, but have not heard anything yet.

Anyone know how long I should wait. I do not have any races on the schedule yet, but want to get this taken care of.
