Scales at service plazas (aka truck stops) will give you a print out with each axle weight.
Very useful if you're trying to rebalance your load.

A guy takes his blind date to the county fair. Good looking lady but does not talk much. He asks her what she wants to do and she tells him "I want to get weighed". Well OK then. They go to the guess your weight booth and the carny gets it right on the money. "Now what?" the guy asks and she says the same thing. He gets the idea that she is a brick shy of a full load and takes her home. She walks in the house and her mother asks her how the date went. She says "Wousy"

This feels like one of those allegory stories that you really have to think about what's the message.

Yeah, totally missed that one. I'm in Denver today so I'm two hours behind.

Check your local material supplier. I weigh in every time I buy soil/stone/mulch... ~5 mi from home.

There are three pads so that you can vary which axles are being weighed, and there is enough room to go to the side and get one trailer tire of a side on separate pads; handy when taking enough variations to determine tongue weight and how much weight is on each trailer tire (important when close to the weight rating of the axles and/or tires).
I got the whole mess weighed at a place south of Lynchburg. But I didn't know about all the separate pads and the guy running it was of no help so in reading this I might not have done it riight, but at lest I have some numbers now.
