If we are to be prevented from defending ourselves in order to attend a PCA event I too am curious as to how long it took for the Sheriff to arrive.

This sounds like either a careless target shooter or maybe varmint patrol possible from inside the track but if it had been a lunatic how long would we have had to hide in the bathroom before help arrived?

I know at my house it's about 15 minutes.

Nope. Didn't cross my mind about the need to defend while at the track. With all the other training activities that have taken place there over the years I suspect track management has ready access to firearms.

Years ago I heard the medics had pistols in case they needed to finish off a badly wounded deer; no idea if that was just an urban legend though.

That's your plan? Hoping track management is gonna ride to your rescue? You expect a private army to be there to protect you every day of the week?

What of there's no training that weekend? I mean they have days off too you know.

Maybe the gate girls carry MAC 10s?

I don't feel compelled to pack heat at the track either to be honest but your plan is a really bad plan.
