Yes, the replacement door must have come from a Coupe.

I made a little booth to get the pieces primed.



The bare metal got some etching primer first.



I was surprised that the primer didn't made a big mess.

the lack of a mess is due to your quality painting skills...i can make a mess of painting with a can, a paintbrush or any other means of application...

No shade meant but I suspect he cleans up a bit before breaking out the camera.

I try and run a clean shop too and I can say you can't hunt and kill rust without making a little bit of a mess now and then.

Actually today is a bloody mess in the shop. Working with fiber glass. Some custom work on the front bumper.

Pix or it did not happen! Rothaus’s dirty shop pix?. Impossible!

all kidding aside. Thanks for the threads. BTW. I hung FG bumpers on the 77 and had to slice them apart and remake them almost the same as you have. Someone has a bad mould I think.

Got the first few pieces painted.









Today started the suspension assembly, so I can roll it on the trailer and bring it to the shop for painting.









And finally primed the rest of the car. Will take it to the shop tomorrow.
