Who ever buy this car will have a great little car and it is the 94 NA to buy as it has the extra horse power being an 88 .

Regarding the '88 8V NA that was rated at 158hp, this was 10hp more than the '87 and older cars.. technically speaking.. but
the 8V 2.7 (N/A) of 1989 had 162hp (and more tq than the '88)

and then the 16V N/A cars
16V 2.5 (N/A) had 188hp
16V 3.0 (N/A) had 208hp
16V 3.0 (968NA) 236hp

I knew what you meant.. the 1988 is the most powerful 2.5l 8V NA motor offered in the US lineup

Still, a beautiful looking car. Really like the color combo.
