FS Feeler: 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit EcoDiesel - $18k
SOLD
Hi all, I am considering upgrading to the last of the WK2 Jeep Grand Cherokees before they switch to the new platform based on the Alfa Romeo Guilia/Stelvio. So, the current one would need to go. This is a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit 4x4 with the 3.0l V6 EcoDiesel engine. I purchased this new in January 2014. It has about 76,000 miles (give or take). - 240 HP / 420 ft-lbs, 3.0l turbo-diesel - 8 speed ZF automatic transmission (8HP70 heavy duty) - Self-Leveling Air Suspension - 6800 lb towing capacity - Deep Cherry Red exterior / Brown Interior - uConnect 8.4" infotainment with navigation (standard), XM, bluetooth, Siri Hands-Free. (No Car Play or Android Auto for this model year.) - Full automatic climate control - Heated steering wheel - Heated / Ventilated memory leather front seats - Heated rear seats (5 people total) - Adaptive Cruise Control - Blind Spot Warning / Rear obstacle warning - Parking Sensors and rear camera - Power folding heated autodimming mirrors with memory This is the top of the line model where pretty much everything was standard. I use it to tow the GT4 on an open trailer, which it does without difficulty - even trying to follow Vranko up the mountain north of Williamsport to Watkins Glen at 70 mph. Gas mileage is great: 30 mpg highway cruising / 20 mpg city without the trailer. About 15-16 mpg with the trailer. There are a couple of minor blemishes - one deep door ding that was received at the historic Seneca Lodge at Watkins Glen NY (the ghost of Jim Clark?), the other is a minor scratch received at historic Summit Point Motorsports Park. The interior has a typical wear and but no rips or stain in the upholstery. There was a very minor fender bender on the rear bumper cover only shortly after I bought it. The only trouble has been the emissions control system - this model was caught up in FCA's version of Dieselgate. The emissions control system has had its issues over time, with multiple ECU flash updates. There is an extended warranty from the Dieselgate settlement - good to 2024 or 120k miles. But fair warning. Other than that, it has been trouble free - really. No rattles anymore (I had one when I had an aftermarket skid plates mounted, but it went away when I removed them.) If you're interested, please let me know ASAP. I am replacing it with the same model (except no diesel is offered this year), so you know I like it.
