Default 1978 No Sunroof/no Ac/manual/row Sc

1978 SC ROW No sunroof coupe. Manual windows, no A/C. Brown exterior. Stripped interior.

Good base for street/track car. Recently overhauld suspension, brakes, oil cooling.

Some recent history

Since Spring of '06

Timing and mixture set by ASG
Alignment/Corner balance/Hight adjustment
Valve adjustment
New Carrera front cooler
New Oil Lines
New Fuel pump
New Fuel Filter
New Plugs
New cap
New Rotor
New Wires
Cleaned injectors

Spring of '06

New shocks and struts all around - Bilstein Sports
New front torsion bars - 23 mm
New front Weltmeister bushings
New front bearings
Rack Spacers
New tie rods
New ball joints
Rebuilt front calipers
New front rotors
New front pads (PF 97s)

New rear torsion bars - 30 mm
New Weltmeister adjustable spring plates
New Weltmeister rear t-bar bushings
Rebuilt rear calipers
New pads (PF 97s)

3.31.00
- installed new brake master cylinder and starter.
- fill with ATE blue dot 4 brake fluid

12.21.00
- heat exchangers replaced
- new oil pressure switch installed
- new oil return lines installed
- clutch replaced
- one piston and cylinder replaced
- removed all 24 head studs, installed all new dilivar studs
- installed all new heat controls, installed new cables, housings.


1.7.02
- installed new front strut inserts

4.29.02
- cap and rotor replaced
- spark plugs replaced
- all 4 brake rotors/calipers/pads replaced
- turbo tie rods installed
- ball joints replaced
- front and rear hood shocks replaced
- brake fluid replaced
- transmission fluid replaced with swepco
- valves adjusted


An Autopower roll bar will come with a car.

Current issues.

-Small oil leak out of the oil pressure sender next to the breather. Have the new sender and gasket.
-Second gear takes a slight effort to get into, but should go away with a new set of motor/trann mounts.


$ 6,900 OBO

H4s, 6s and 7s x 16" Fuchs, full galvanized body, lightest regular SC made, big port 3 liter engine, no emission tests, 2”s more head room for helmets, how could you go wrong? I’m even tempted!

Scott,

The rust was repaired last December shortly after discovering the damage. All the rust was removed, the complete rocker panel got covered with POR-15, a new patch got welded in place, covered once again with POR-15, then RestoGRIP body filler, then tie-coat primer.
