Default 2017 Gathering of The Faithful

Since it hadn't been mentioned.. like Chesapeake Challenge yesterday, I thought I post this up.

Time: 10 am to 2 pm
When: Saturday, September 2nd 2017
Where: Bavarian Inn, Shepherdstown, West Virginia
Cost: $5.00 (register on-site only) If showing a Porsche

This year the Gathering of the Faithful will be at Bavarian Inn in Shepherdstown, West Virginia.

If you’ve never visited the Bavarian Inn then you’re in for a treat. If you have, then you know this will be an excellent event. The Inn is offers European elegance and world class service from its scenic location perched on a bluff overlooking the Potomac River.

Here we will hold the next Potomac Porsche Club car show where you can win door prizes, socialize, eat & drink and enjoy the sites.

Located in historic Shepherdstown, W.V. the alpine-style inn is only an hour from Washington, D.C. and Baltimore, and minutes from Harpers Ferry, and the grounds offer an
Infinity Pool and Bar, Tennis Court and multiple formal and casual dining options.
For those wishing to make a weekend out of the trip, luxurious accommodations can be made through the Bavarian Inn website at www.bavarianinnwv.com

The Bavarian Inn Restaurants will be open for dining the day of the event.

That is a really nice venue! I hosted a drive there during PCA Potomac's Escape event some years ago. Would have loved to stop by this Saturday, but other commitments have us out of town. Enjoy! Looking forward to pics here.

The HPDC may be that day as well.

Well, I can't imagine they had many dates to choose from this late in the game.

Is anyone here planning to go to this? I think my wife and I will go and I am trying to figure out a good route to take from NoVA to Shepherdstown. Also I assume we should dress a little nicer than t-shirt and shorts, as it looks like a fancy place(?). I'm a new owner and met some of you a few weeks ago on the trip to Hagerstown's Augustoberfest (silver 2013 C4).

I can't wait to read the explanation of the Dorki dress code.
