So, this car is effectively a replacement for the 911 black edition... If you recall the black edition was... black. Had some options and said black edition on the door sill. So you can either have a 911 w/ lightweight glass from the gt2 rs, a somewhat bespoke interior that isn't available in any other 911, different final drive, a limited slip differential and some other available sport options or... a car that is black. I have plenty of clients that have and purchased cars on here and I don't think that people on here are posers, that is why I spend time on here. I am just asking you and the folks on here to consider different options. I am happy that Porsche has realized and provided options for people that like things other than pseudo special edition cars. To recap Porsche has created... A normal engined 911 Lighter glass bespoke, cloth, interior different final drive available no radio available no roof reduced sound insulation the only normal 911 w/a short throw shifter rear seat delete Sounds like a formula that they chased in the 90s. |

For the cost differential versus a regular base 991, you get sports exhaust, locking differential, short shifter with shorter gear ratios, sports PASM, 20” wheels and some lightweighting and reduced sound proofing features. All these things together provide good value for the money, if the purchaser is a driving enthusiast. The real clincher IMO is the ability to order light weight sport buckets, which make the T serviceable on the track without too much modification.
Any idea whether Porsche addressed the issue of no sub belt cutouts for the passenger LWB?

Bingo, it's the new RSA
Personally I really like the 'standard' motor, it feels most like a naturally aspirated engine, due to the less turbo lag. I remember driving that demo car you got when the 991.2 first came out, I was impressed. So was my brother after just getting out of his upgraded 930 to give it a test drive.

It is an option. I just did a GT3 the same way. I need to get into the ordering system for more info. We only got one T in our newest batch of allocation
