Picked up another addition for the 993 over Memorial Day, Blaupunkt SRQ 46.

The projects keep lining up for the 993.

Found a nice 996 fatty Steering Wheel complete with airbag to replace the stock wheel.

The light is out on the multifunction gauge so the projects are piling up as well

I have been waiting for the replacement bulbs for the multifunction gauge to get in before installing, so that I only need to remove the steering wheel one time. Can’t wait to get this in the car.

Finally had a few minutes today and installed an extra 996 fatty steering wheel in the 993.

I really like it

More work continues on the 993.

It took awhile but I stumbled across another 996 GT3 fixed bucket seat for the passenger seat in my 993.

Bill “Catman” was kind enough to re-dye it black and the result is very nice.

I have a new set of leather centers on the way.

As soon as we can figure out how to remove the non working electric passenger seat from the 993 this one is going in the passenger seat.

Should save about 40lbs with both seats replaced

Thank you Bill

Very nice.

I've read of folks using an air chisel to remove the bolts of a non-working seat. They're pretty soft.

If the motor is shot then you can remove the plastic cover and expose an allen wrench head/manual adjuster for the no battery or bad motor condition. If its the cable thats broken then getting to the manual allen wrench head does no good.

By the way who is Bill "catman". Have a few interior pieces I need to get dyed black. Is this an interior shop ? Post up some contact info please or PM me.
