Default Snap On Stud Remover

Does anyone here have a Snap-on Stud remover they'd be willing to loan?

I'm looking for the type with the individual metric collets for each size stud. I know I could use the double-nut method,
but I've heard these removers work much better and better yet, they cause zero damage to the studs.

I'm stripping down a 944 block to send it off to get the cylinders nikasil coated and have to remove all
the studs prior to the "treatment". Apparently the pre-treatment will destroy anything that isn't made
of aluminum, so I have to take out all the studs to keep them from being destroyed.

Anyone have one?? I can offer beer or scotch as a rental fee.

Thanks!!

Jim

Hi Jim,
Yes, I do but I am down in N.Va. Also , Craig has it right now but he is most likely done with it by now. I have 8 and 10mm fittings. Let me see if I can get it to you somehow

Jim, shoot me your address and I'll send it to you or if you work in NoVA or DC maybe we can do a hand off? Let me know what works best for you.

Anybody have a set of the Snap-on toolls available to borrow? I'm in the process of rebuilding my 3.2l, and need to remove and replace the head studs on it.

Thanks,
David

I now have a set. If anybody needs to borrow them after I'm done you are welcome to them.

Regards,
David
