Do you happen to know the color of the other green 914? I kind of like it.

I do too; it is Willow Green and a terrific color.

Yesterday we got the new 0-10 Bar, dual-pole, oil pressure sender and adapter swapped onto the engine. That was a bit tough as there is not a lot of space. Now in about a month (when the rain starts) I will pull the gauges and send them out for the artwork on the gauge to be done so it matches the sender, 0-140 PSI.

After driving my car and seeing the temperature during long drives, I decided we needed to open the 5 holes (where the rubber body plugs go) in the nose to connect them together and allow more air to flow through the oil cooler. So we pulled the front bumper and valance and taped it out and took a cutoff wheel to it. Then ground it smooth and hit it with some satin black. Then to protect the cooler, we put some metal screen over the cooler as a stop gap to finding an elegant solution to screen the opening but make it flush with the face of the bumper and valance. SO the cooler is now protected and we can drive the car with no fear of losing the cooler to a rock.

No updates in a while on my 6.

We are building a home for my brother on our property with an attached 1600+ sq. ft. garage with a 12'6" ceiling. In-ground scissor lift, 2-post asymmetrical lift and all of the rest of the garage goodies. Adding 48 2'x4' LED flush-mount light panels so we will have plenty of light. They just wrapped it and are getting ready to stucco. Tile roof, separate HVAC with 4-ton system for the garage to keep it just right regardless of time of year. His 2015 911 Turbo S will live in that garage along with my 6.

Aside from that, we are remodeling the entire inside of my home and they finally installed kitchen cabinets... been without a kitchen for a few months now. We should be completely done by February 1st with my home. Can't wait so I can then get back onto my 6. Merry Christmas everyone. Michael

OK, finally getting back to my list of things on my car. I have pulled the 3 gauges and they are going off to John Bell for some creative work. Probably going to be about 5 weeks before I get them back and then I will post some pictures. One of things I am having is done is to correct the oil pressure gauge "scale" to match the oil pressure sender. Very excited to see them upon return. Cheers and God Bless America. Michael
