Default PPI for BMW (in MD)

I'm looking at a 1992 BMW 325i. Does anyone have recommendations for a shop to perform a Pre-Purchase Inspection.

The car has been serviced at German Auto Works in Rockville. Does anyone know about this shop? Should I have them do it?, or get an "independent" inspection.

Thanks.

John,
Try Martin's in the Mont. Airpark area. Know several people very happy w/ their work. They only service BMWs.

Never hurts to get a PPI done. May uncover some potentially serious issues not disclosed by the owner or other shop.

It would see track time, probably street tires only though. Even without 4 extra tires, we would have a tough enough time getting the kids and other stuff to the track with a 325 replacing the minivan.

Come to think of it, maybe a 944 can fit eight tires....

The current car I'm looking at may not happen though. I think he wants too much money for the car. We'll see.

Thanks Jerome,

I had a nice talk with Dan Martin about the car and will take the car their assuming the seller will come down some on his price. Pat races an 95 M3.
