That's the reason I got AC. I wanted the PIRC mod. Early on he made a couple of improvements so the last version is a little better than this, but he hasn't done anything recently. The track is great; the infrastructure not so much. BTW, the mod has no track markers going into T7, but you can use variations in the grass.

Although I never had the guts in real life, you CAN take the kink [T16] flat in a Cayman. Turn in is about half way between the 2 & 3 markers for T17 viewed across the apex of T16. I now have TW200 tires so I may give it a try this year.

BTW, there are very nice mods for Summit Point, VIR and Watkins Glen for AC. I've never driven any of these tracks so I'd be interested in how accurate they are.

There is a mod for Mid-OH which I have driven and it is pretty good.

I've really only driven ACC (no mods allowed). Maybe I should give AC a shot just to get a look at how PittRace looks there.

See you soon Bob

Weekend report - It was a blast!

Big thanks to the many volunteers, that already do more than you can imagine, and yet were able to pull of so many new processes and procedures for social distancing needs. The event ran amazingly smooth even though it was our first contactless gate access, registration, tech and meetings. I saw a lot of people working their butts off, so thanks!

My second time to Pitt and will be going back. If you haven't driven here you need to come out next year. The track is menacingly fun and challenging. You need to be very precise to peel off decent laps. And there's hardly ever a boring lap with a lot of close passing.

It's been too long since anyone has posted a track video. This is not my proudest moment but entertaining nonetheless. Just a couple out laps yesterday morning with a few Dorkis. I knew the last corner was covered in clag after seeing a self proclaimed PCA Nation Champion unable to avoid a spin and having my own difficulty getting the car to slow there but I ran over a nice pile and it almost turned me around.

The flaggers called me in for a 4 off which I didn't agree with but the steward was wearing his big boss man hat and didn't believe me. Thing is...this is my first ever "DE" off or spin, ever. And I was bummed to lose that streak and looking at the video, do I deserve it? Looks and sounds like 2 1/2 - 3 wheels off to me

Cute video. Is that an automatic you’re driving? Well at least your wife drives a stick....

Amature This is all you got, even after you saw what a proper spin looks like I do need to get me one of them fancy data/video toys.

Thank you to all who work so hard to put the event on. It was good to see a lot of familiar faces.
I must say that we finally have a driveable car. Now the learning begins. Stay way back and approach cautiously when you see me.

That's scary quick. What were you driving? 130 though the kink. I think the fastest I've ever taken it is around 115. Your line was delicious and I love the way you accelerate a bit even on the shortest straights.

The best I've ever done in my Cayman is 2:05.5 and last weekend I was off by two seconds. The track seemed slow for some reason. Probably it was me. I haven't been on track for nine months!
