You can’t plug the ctek male into this female adaptor? I am missing something.

thanks, I didnt realize the model was in the title

Looks like you need the adaptor specific to this charger to connect to the battery

I don' t see how your picture of the alligator clips would connect to my unit. I must be missing something, unless you are agreeing with me that I need to cut off the cig. adapter and use your pictured alligator clips.

Fwiw, can you say which model car you have? The 987 and 981 generations charge just fine through the cig lighter port…if your car has the Smoker’s Package

Thats a picture of the ctek adaptor for your unit, the fancy porsche one No cutting, just plug the cig male you have into the harness. You could cut and splice, seems it would accomplish the same thing but with a visa swipe instead of solder, connectors, clips... If you want the battery attachment I would just swap to a different unit, built in and cheaper. But, you can make this work if you want!

You install the Female adaptor to the battery and then plug the "hard wired
" Male power adaptor into the Female adaptor. the Female adaptor appears to be present on the picture.

I think you need to remove the red protective cap from the male adapter before inserting into the cig lighter or the alligator clip adapter.
