Nice looking car! Would be interesting to see what it actually sells for.

The pics of the car had me drooling like Homer Simpson looking at a dozen fresh donuts! That being said, I don’t have a spare $36K hanging around. And if I did, I don’t think I would spend it on a 968.
Like Trak Ratt, I wonder what it will actually sell for.

I agree, I think they mis-typed the first number, or have been looking at the bonkers BaT auctions and thought anything Porsche is a gold-mine.
Very nice, but head scratching price...I hope he gets what it's listed for

I chuckled at that one. Being that I had a one of one 2004 MB C320 4-matic wagon...I guess I missed out on the big bucks.
The car had a custom-order-only blue interior, and I remember when I tried to sell it to "Nico Buys Cars", he told me he'd pay $1000 more for it if it had a normal interior color instead of that odd blue.

I think its value is somewhere in the high twenties as a high mileage example of an M030 968. They only brought 99 M030 cars to N America and NOT all of them had the 220 option which this one does and factor the Horizon Blue color and it is a rare car. There has been a Red M030 car at a Porsche dealer North Baltimore for 32K for like 6 months so not sure being over 100K miles they will see north of 30. If it had 50K miles it would have been long sold for its ask, no questions before ever arriving on CL locally. If interested the guys at ASG did a PPI on it for someone out of town looking at it.

Nice car but agreed the asking price is a bit high. I think jsheiry is on target. I will say I like to see the prices creeping up on 968's and nice 944 variants, especially since I have a couple of them laying around. It was an interesting take at TechTactics two years ago when Nathan Merz, PCA's car value expert, talked about some of the crazy pricing that was going on with BAT and other auction houses. This was right after a 5k mile pearl white 944 turbo sold for $70K. One of the points he made was that some of the people that are paying goofy money for water cooled front engined P-cars are younger folks who have now become successful with cash flow and basically grew up when Supras, RX-7's, Integra's, and 944T's were the hot cars. Air cooled 911's are just for the old dudes. After I thought about it I think he's right. That's probably why there is a 70's Mustang sitting in my garage. Was the baddest looking car on my block when I was riding my Schwinn spider bike back and forth....
