Would you mind calling Dr. K and reading it to him over the phone?

Wonder why the 2-post lift is cheaper than the 4-post? Peter

I don't remember actually and I think It might not be around anymore though I will check. I didn't want to create another "Curry-gate" affair.
It was in a "value pak" type mailer piece. It merely could have been just an FYI flyer.

Just fyi, NoVa Corvette Club is having a meet at the DIY place Sunday morning. Dunno if more lifts are available, but my friend Ed and I have signed up his Z06 to install a new thermostat; might also install new StopTech brakes.

So, to bring this back up, I wanted to get my brakes done on the Tahoe this weekend. Remembered this thread, and checked out the http://www.ditymechanics.com/index.html
Very nice way to spend couple of hours on rainy weekend. I used the low rise lift to get all fours wheels up to replace front rotors, pads, bleed brakes and rotate tires. Lots easier than this old guy and my challenged jack. Used their Motive bleeder all in $47 for 2 hours and bleeder rental. Nice guys. Most of the two post lifts were in use. He had two low rise and both were open. Nother Tahoe using the 4 post next to me for his suspension. Hope they generate enough business to keep going.

For some reason I thought their prices were double what they have listed. Perhaps renting out a stall for the motor mounts is the way to go.

After reading this string and all the positive feedback about the DIY garage, I was ready to head-out to Sterling this weekend to rent a lift for an hour to replace one of the axles on my Speedster. But, they're no longer in business. Ugh! Anyone know of another place in NoVA that rents lifts?
