That's really wild, great advantage for going with that car then. Should be killer in H. Anybody with an older car in H, should be worried.

Good luck with the build, Ryan! The car looks great already - can't wait to see the finished product!

BTW, my Piper cage is 190 lbs... Better get that A/C out of the car if you want to drop the weight.

Awesome project, very few of these running in H so it will be cool to see how it stacks up. What is the advantage of the PCCB brakes if you use steel rotors? Is it not the ceramic rotor and yellow paint on the caliper that makes it different than the stock brakes?

x2.

PCCB calipers are all 6-pot. Not sure what the stock 997 uses. They also use larger diameter rotors. So bigger brakes than a base model for sure.

Awesome loophole, S/turbo sized brakes without the class penalty. If this works I see the value of 964s taking a dive.

Huge difference since I am running a Non S 997. Yes they are 6 pot vs 4, but main advantage is rotor size and pad area. The front have almost double the pad area than the non PCCBs. Here's a Chart:

Why? 964 and 993 are quite strong in G class in stock form.

What goes in place of the nav display? Seems like a good spot for a switch panel.

Especially if they make OBDI chips free!
