Indeed. The summers are nice here in MD, but after a few weeks of ice and snow, I really miss the mild (but rainy) winters in NorCal.

Love the Morgan drop head coupe! Have only ever seen one other. Looks like it could use some new rear springs though.

Took the 6 to a local Cars 'n Coffee yesterday. Great day- sun shining and about 40 hot rods showed up. I was enjoying all of the cars when I noticed 2 guys really giving my car the eye ball. I walked over and 1 of them said, "Is this your 914-6?" I said, "Yes, it is." He then said, This is a beautifully done car. I don't think they get any better than this. It is really nice." It was then I recognized the voice as Steve Moal of Moal Coachworks of Oakland, CA. If you ever watched Chasing Classic Cars with Wayne Carini, Steve Moal is the man who built Wayne's "Moal Speedway" hot rod. I love that car. We talked for about 30 minutes and I plan to stop by his shop one day to check out another very special Porsche they are going to be doing the metal work on. Steve noticed all of the little details we did to my car. For me, when a 3rd generation Coachbuilder compliments your car like that, I was truly humbled. I love my car and driving it makes me happy. I am lucky to have it.

Been a bit since I posted, but yesterday, 4/3 we took the car to the 1st EASY gathering of the year. About 100 Porsche cars of all types showed as well as couple non-Porsche cars. It was a great day with terrific weather.

Great pictures, but I can't help feeling a little slighted to see the difference between East Coast Cars & Coffee and those events in California...

I think we are all starving for conversation in person and to let our cars run in the fresh air.
