Default WTB - Cab or Targa < $25K

Not for me! Buddy of mine wants a cab or targa for under $25K (in good running shape). Bob

I would recomend the Targa every time. The open air sensation is about the same as the cab without the extra backwash of air. Protection with the Targa bar. Top is pretty easy to put on or take off, and IMHO the Targa looks a lot better than the Cab.

What is the difference in noise between the 2 on the highway, etc? I know that the Targa is quite loud and, in my opinion, the most annoying part of the car.

You've probably got targa seals that are bad (but you knew that). The seals on mine are decent and I find that the engine noise is more than any wind noise, which is as it should be.

Good seals and top on it really is not that bad but I have a loud exhaust!! Al Fresco I am pretty sure the Targa is quite a bit quieter with out the back wind, also you have an option of top off and windows up. $25,000 should buy a pretty good example of either 88/89 or 964. Another advantage of the Targa is the extra height available compared to the coupe and probably the cab

Unfortunately, a 993 tip cab he was considering just sold out from under him for 22K and that has him spoiled. But we'll see.

What size are the BBS wheels. I'm interested in those!
