Tech Questions is the main DIY section here... there never was a specificly named "DIY" forum, as the entire site was always geared towards DIY. Are you looking for engine drop pictures perhaps?

I guess I was wrong , used to view a link or topic where people would ask for dorki help on engine drops or suspension mods etc.. guess it doesn't exist any more

You're right, there was a section called "help needed" next to "professional help needed". The forums were rearranged a bit and it must have been merged with the Tech forum(?) Jazz, where did those go?

I'd post there if you need a hand with something.

Ahhh... OK. Thanks for the reminder, Steve, I forgot about that.

You are correct, there used to be a section called "Help Needed". The line between that forum and Tech Discussions was very blurry, with people posting help needed in both places. Because of that, it seemed superfluous and I merged it with Tech Discussions. All of the articles you saw are there now, and a search should turn them up pretty quickly.
