Default NOVA machine shops ?

Do you guys have a machine shop up that way that you trust for Porsche work ? We've got one shop down here that is great with Am stuff, but I've had to many instances with Porsche, Alfa and VW heads getting f-ed up there that I can't use them anymore for these cars. I can't get it into their heads not to hammer the guides in. I need my Fo-Fo head done and really don't want to bend over for Lindsey

Used Allied Industrial Machine in Falls Church a few times for odd jobs, and was happy with quality of work and price. No head experience with them though.

although not in Va, Anchor Atlantic in NJ does a great job and turn around is fast, I believe the only heads they do are porsche. Give Bob Hirst a call at 888-589-5577 , he did mine, had them back in less than 2 weeks

I took a case to them for cleaning a couple of weeks ago. He said he's sold his Porsche fixtures but you'd call to confirm. Conveniently located near intersection of Rt 66 and Rt 7.

They are good guys, they checked and mic'd my crankshaft, but diddnt seem too interested in looking at my cases and/or doing the case plugs. They have been there for years, did some head work on my cutlass/442 a while back.

ASG in Merrifield may be able to point in the right direction.

Have you tried talking with Luftecnik? Richmond is a lot closer to you.

Don't believe the hype
Maybe check with Tim Berardelli (356 engine builder) or Intersport to see who they use.
