Thinking I could get a qualified "baseline" offer from CarMax I went there today and got this response "the car is nearly perfect" and we'll give you xxxxx.

They were so far under KBB or any book I had to take it as a "we really don't want to sell this car" offer?

Carvanna tends to offer higher than Carmax fwiw.

Traditionally, Dorki's are cheap as fudge, so something bought/sold here has to be really "special".

I'd also add some interior pics.. with better lighting.. When I first saw your pics, I thought the car was blue.. Had to read it was gray.. Some might find gray a less desirable sports car color. imho, at your current asking price point, you are up against 997.2s and to many, they are a superior car, if only due to no IMS issues. There might be other issues.. like its summer and folks already have their car.. or they are on vacation etc. Or, its a 13 year old car, essentially, and is on its way to the bottom of its depreciation curve soon. Then there is the recent market dumping.. which means those with cheap money just lost a chunk of it.. idk. But as they say, when supply/demand and price intersect, an item can be sold.
