If a working shop just seal it is my recommendation! I used a high quality epoxy on mine and every time something heave gets dropped ,a nice new chip results!! Very little lifting or peeling but plenty of chips.

Working shop, like my current one.

I used rustoleum floor epoxy from Lowe's on my current shop. 14 years and lots of abuse later. ....still looks good. No issues with chips or lifting.

I plan to epoxy this one too.
