I see now in the 9OHSC photo gallery what they look like. Looks like the same 9k lift w/ different arm configuration. The arms are both straight. You can see though that you'll need ~ 33+25+12(? carriage width) = 70" of clear area between the wheels if the car is wide. Prob need to add another ~16"(?) to that to compare to a cars wheelbase to clear the arc of the tires. I know that parking the 996 on my lift was a BEAR w/ the factory arms so whatever wheelbase & width that is, is the physical limit.
The 9KOH I have w/ asym arms is 39 & 28" length arms. I now have two pair of the 28" arms installed. Unibody cars where the lift points are right under the door sills need a LOT shorter arms than a truck w/ a ladder frame thats 1-2' closer to the centerline of the vehicle. Make sense? FWIW, you can't use the lift pads that are up on the rear arms because they don't fit under porsches (except the cayenne) You're welcome to stop by anytime to look at mine. So whichever style you pick, I'd suggest buying an extra pair of short arms while you're at it and save the shipping. Edit: I corrected my math (was looking at the wrong pic.) The rear asym factory arm is longer (39 vs 33). So you MIGHT get away w/ the 'super symmetric' 33" rear arm.

Thanks, good info.
One thing I like about the Mohawk is the arms are so low. If the pads dont work, just use the arm with some wood/rubber/whatever you have for protection. Also, since the arms face the rear it's simple to fit short wheelbase cars. If still too short just set move the arms part way in and push the car forward a bit. Simple process with a manual and a somewhat light car.

have you used a Mohawk? I found them to be bulky and overbuilt in places.

Grew up with one so it's what I'm most comfortable with. Only issue I'm aware of is a cylinder leak which I think was related to the arms being out of balance once, that's in daily use for ~20+ yrs.
