Looking Good! What are the inside dimensions of the main garage area?

It's pretty great: 40' wide, shop area is 24x24 and the single car bay is 16x20. Almost 11' ceilings.
After 20 years working on cars in a semi-weatherproof barn, I'm loving this: not only does it have doors, they have weather seals and go up and down when you press a button. Now I know how Jed Clampett must have felt.

Well said. I look back at the engines I pulled, timing belts, clutches... in my folks driveway or under the carport and I still shake my head. No idea how I pulled off some of that, cold wrenches ... enjoy your place.

Luxury.
A little about this lift. It's a Worth, one of several brands made in Ft Worth, TX - probably at the same factory. Upside: made in the US, about 1/2 the price of a Rotary or Mohawk (~$3300), 9' tall towers fit under my 10' 8" ceiling, well-tested design - pretty much the same as many manufacturers sold in the 80s and 90s, comes with a set of fixed-height truck pad adapters which do the job for our Eurovan. Downside: agricultural build quality, half-assed packaging for shipment left the finish a little damaged, arms aren't quite low enough for the RS-height 993, but 2x4 ramps solve that problem. Installation was nicely done by Scott Automotive Equipment in Manassas, who came recommended by my very picky friends at HRM. The lift is set pretty far to the side of the bay, which makes for a tight entrance and exit. If you look carefully above the LF fender you can see a convex mirror, which helps with positioning cars using the silver stripe we painted dead center on the base plate, and also for avoiding the garage wall on the way in & out.

Cool!
Pretty cool when the project is complete and you can move on to, uh, another project.
