964 For Sale
Well it is time to move onto my next Porsche as I have throughly enjoyed my nine year run with an air-cooled 911 whose name is 'Misty'. I thought I would put the word out locally as I hope someone here will take their turn caring for her before she goes on Bring-A-Trailer.
This car is currently titled, registered and insured in the state of Virginia with Antique plates and title in hand. Note, I also have a Trailex open aluminum trailer that I will sell as a package or separately after the new buyer has the first option. 1990 Carrera C2 VIN: (deleted by moderator post sale) 103,XXX miles Highlights: • Owner 20-year Porsche Club of America member and track Instructor • Car never wrecked, original paint (except pieces added; aero mirrors, rear spoiler) • Clean CarFax • Two keys • Records from 1997, three owners since 1997. • PCA Club Racing logbook from previous owner. • New master brake cylinder from Germany June 2018 • Bottom engine rebuild January 2020 (six events since) • New windshield November 2021 • Rear JRZs rebuilt June 2022 • A/C system and lines removed, engine oil lines replaced February 2016 • Hood signed by Randy “The Rocket” Pobst, he drove the car twice and I tweaked the set up on his advice. I have videos, pictures and his social media post. Super nice guy by the way. Track modifications: • Weight circa 2760 pounds • Full roll cage • JRZ double adjustable suspension • Front ~625-pound springs, rear ~800-pound springs • Brembo Big Red 964 Turbo front brakes, Big Red 968 rear brakes • AIM MXL data system with Smarty Cam • Burns stainless steel headers and exhaust system • 996 GT3 seats • 964 Cup front and rear adjustable anti-sway bars • RSR rear spoiler, front splitter • John Behe RPR Performance custom chip (have original) • 2nd set of Fikse wheels • 2nd engine oil cooler • Kill switch • Front and rear mono ball sets • Rolled fenders • Rennline floor panels • Momo quick release steering wheel • Hood and rear deck pins I am asking $77,500 OBO You can DM me here or call my cell: seven oh three nine six six zero nine three six Thanks for looking

Wow… what a great car! I wish I had space for it. I will miss seeing your car.
What is next? Shoot me a message if you prefer to keep it on the down-low.

Ken- I am not 100% sure what the next step will be but I can say that I have enjoyed every minute of the air-cooled experience. I may look into a nearly new 911, GT4 or GT3 but I suppose I will go one step at a time.

It's a wonderful car. I've been right seat in it several times. Drives really nice and 964s are now eligible for PCA Vintage Racing.

GLWS Ken. I'm (likely, unless I change my mind) going to list mine in 4-5 weeks (after 19 years of ownership) so interested to see how yours does.
