Hoosier R7 P255/50ZR16 fit in '88 Carrera
Anyone try to fit Hoosier R7 P255/50ZR16 in the rear of a stock '88 Carrera fender well with 16x8 phone dial rims (not sure of the offset)?
245s fit nicely but don't know about the 255 (or the 275 on 8" rims) fitting in the rear wheel well.

Russell,
When I raced my Carrera (with you) I fit the 275/35-15s in the fender well. Shouldn't that be a similar diameter with a wider tread? Peter

The question is will 16" rims with 255s fit in the well. My 16" phone dial rims are only 8" wide so I should not attempt to put on 275s in the rear.
