I have a set of those Bill, if you'd like to borrow.

Another trick is using an air hammer, and trying to get the chisel or point in just the right spot to start rotating the lug. I actually used this method once, although the wheel suffered a bit of "rash". Still usable, just lost some of it's pretty.

The problem gets worse as the lugs are in recessed holes in the wheel, with little room around the lug.

Bill, I believe I have a set of those, too (and I'm closer than Tony) but I'll have to check when I get home.

Here's what the wheel locks looked like:

I say "looked" because they are now off the car and in the scrap box. I ended up using the "hammer a socket on" technique. Had to wait 'til today, since most of my larger sockets are 6-point, and I needed to get a 12-point.

Thank you all very much for the suggestions and tool-loan offers.

Good work

I sort of chuckle at the 'take it to the dealer' idea. What do you think they are going to do?

use a bigger hammer!

I believe some dealers have collections of the limited multiple key variants for OEM provided wheel locks.

Dealer wouldn't have made any difference. I showed the parts guy at Honda the picture above, and he said there was no way that was a factory lock.

That gator socket would work great, they make different sizes in it as
well.
