Default WTB Spec Boxster
As some of you know, I sold my Miata (SSM class) as my buddies moved to SM class. So I'm looking for a new-to-me car, either an SM (more expensive tires, less expensive repairs, race with SCCA with good friends but very little track time) or a Spec Boxster (less expensive tires, more expensive repairs, but about 2 seconds faster could could run at PCA DEs in Red and use my almost-pristine 981 Cayman as a purely street car). I just missed Matt's car (Applebaum ) so still looking. Anybody have a lead on a good car that isn't overpriced?

Thanks, but I want to race in a big class (preferably with inexpensive tires) and it seems Spec Boxster fits.

Reach out to Ken Larson. He is selling his. Chrome Moly cage that is a work of art and it has air jacks! Was Colin Mazzola's 'Flying Squirrel" prior to Ken rewrapping the car.

I've seen (and sat it) Ken's car. The air jacks keep me from fitting--I'm just too tall. But otherwise it would be the car I bought.

I just agreed to buy a Spec Miata tonight (smokin' deal) so I'll race that for the next year and then reconsider my options.

Mods - could you close this thread?
