Only thing you would need to worry about the date on the seat is for racing otherwise its fine(as long as it looks good), if you want to race put a back brace on it and call it a day.

Thanks for the feeback! The drivers seat, a containment style seat, is near impossible for me to get in and out of without pushing the seat all the way back on the sliders. As such, I would think a seat back brace is a non starter, as I am not sure how I would adjust it to be near the seat, yet still allow me to move the seat to get in and out.

And yes, thank you for confirming its use for DE, although I likely wont continue its use given the ease of entry/exit.
