Default Public Lifts in Sterling?

There are old threads of this nature but no (recent) conclusions. Is there a public shop that provides lifts by the hour or day? I heard there maybe one in the back of Sterling circa Church/Cascades parkway?

I am asking for a friend.

TIA

May not be the same one, but there was a shop mentioned here a while back off of Cascades Parkway and (I think) maybe Woodland? Can't remember the name, but about 5 years ago I went over there to inquire. They told me back then they had to shut that service down as insurance couldn't deal with it. IIRC think I ran into Taylor Chapman when I was over there...

Yes, that was Scott’s place. He had to close 7 years ago due to insurance coverage issues. . I am not aware of any out here now.

After watching trained auto mechanics and their efforts to property load and lift cars for the last 15 years I can’t fathom letting folks that are not trained/used to car lifts use one that is under my liability.

QFT, Scott did have 2 licensed mechanics around so there was some supervision and assistance. It was nice to do the brakes and shocks on my Suburban there.

Hey now! I was the tech chair for something like 7 years back in the olden days. Have trained a couple of folks how to crush 911 oil lines, fold over standing seams and elevate floor pans.
