Mobile PPI?
Folks,
I'm looking at an 87 928S4 that I like but I know has issues and of course needs a PPI prior to seriously considering it and making an offer. Given the pandemic, and the reality that I'm doing this at arms length, does anyone know of a reliable, Porsche-experienced mobile PPI option in the Alexandria, VA area? There are some local shops doing pickup/delivery but wanted to see if this is even an option. Thanks and be safe. |

So much is learned from having on a lift! I would not want to invest in that approach. But to each -----

Repairs on a 928 are very pricy unless you're doing them yourself (then just pricy). There is (was?) a dedicated group of shark enthusiasts who would help one another with repairs. I've been told many parts are hard to access so even affordable parts can lead to expensive repairs. Doing anything less than a full, expert PPI on a old and exotic car is only for the very wealthy.
