ISO - Mid-80's to '89 SC - Carrera
From a "Test Drive" Potomac Member:
I currently do not have a car BUT that is about to change, hopefully!! I am looking for a mid-80s to 89 SC or preferably Carrera. It does not have to be a concours car, but does need to be solid and original with excellent provenance. I am looking for a weekend car that will not give me trouble, other than normal general maintenance. Could you please put the word around. I have been in contact with Dan Graff and he has steered me to a few websites, but I thought since I am in your region I ought to make contact with you. I am an Englishman but living in VA so do not have the knowledge and experience of where to look and who to trust many thanks and have a good Christmas Robert Boucher

I have to admit I needed to look up "provenance" on dictionary.com.

And for it to be fully reliable even though it will be 40-50 years old. So that means someone has gone through and sorted it recently.
I suspect this is a $45k - $55k price range.

Coupe? Targa? Cab? G50 or 915? Lots of details to flesh out, but glad to hear there is someone looking for a nice older 911.
