Get some larger jack stands. I just pulled an e36 trans on stands. I have a pair of larger stands if you need to borrow.

Thanks. I've got some big ones and can get more. For once in my life I'm going to plan and "test fit" this project before I dive in.

I've got a set of Quick Jacks you could borrow, but I'm pretty far from PWC.

But I get it, not bad advice at all to have a race shop pop in a clutch
Yes, they are quick. They typically need to get the car repaired and back on track same day.

On many occasions, it takes me longer to get my car off the trailer and back on the trailer than it takes for one of the shops to swap parts for me.

funny how it works

I'm not fast but something like a clutch in a miata is pretty straight forward. Do it more than a couple times and you get pretty good at it.
