that much money on a hitch seems exorbitant (unless it includes the cost of a trans cooler and the cost of cutting the rear bumper, lol). does it support standard hitch balls (so you can swap depending on the trailer--car trailer vs. small utility trailer), and does it support standard attachments that fit a 2" receiver, such as bike carriers, etc., or will you be required to buy execu-pricey adapters and implements?

"ExecuHitch will integrate your vehicle into your world." That's a serious claim right there.

I didn't watch the whole video but it doesn't look like it has enough subframe tie in to support a 6K towing capacity. The shot I saw looked like it was mounted by two ~3/4" bolts spaced 6" apart.

I'll be honest, I couldn't make it all the way through either. What is interesting is that in regular towing, the whole mess relies on that one pin that holds the ball mount to the square socket.

I doubt I will be buying this, but it is kinda interesting. It's manly to have a cut up bumper and a trailer hitch. Separates the men from the the moms out shopping. Or something. I remember when all the explorers were fitted with tiny class 2 hitches from the factory. Probably something the lawyers and marketers compromised on. "Hey, you can tow (1)"

(1) Not really.

Where do the safety chains and load stabilizer bars attach too?

Fine for bikes, maybe small utility trailers, but imho, not enough for 4-5-6K lb pulls.
