Do you prefer FM? Have you streamed live radio? Check with Brett at Hifi Heaven in Falls Church. He has a ton of vintage gear.

Hmmm, Parasound no longer makes the ZTuner, but you can probably score a used one (V.2) at the lower part of your price range.
Parts-Express has a couple Denon ones for $300/ $400 that include some additional features.

The ultimate tuner information guide:
https://fmtunerinfo.com/ I picked up a Kenwood KT-990D years ago based on their review. Very nice tuner. Scour their reviews, check eBay, and good luck!

Definitely prefer FM to AM. Since the tuner died, I sometimes listen to WETA on my computer, but I don't know how to listen to streaming through my hi-fi.

Wi-fi or ethernet connection of the tuner/ streamer to your router. A little TCP/IP setup in the tuner/ streamer and you should be ready to go.

I plug my cell phone into the receiver using a $3 lightning to rca adaptor. Receiver thinks it is the CD player. A whole world of shop toons and podcasts at my fingertips. (Or I just yell at the amazon Tap)
You could do the same with your computers headphone jack too.

Amp and preamp completed, cased, and put away in a new little rack - the attic behind that wall has been very convenient. Some mistakes were made, like the cool but total PITA coax wiring, but will be addressed in the inevitable refactoring.
The chassis is from Landfall Systems, chosen because of the aluminum-plate construction and dual bays. The Korg tube (or at least the one I have) is very sensitive as mentioned. It rang like a bell until the board was in the case, mounted on rubber standoffs, with some mass damper blue-tacked onto the tube itself. The preamp is really, really superb, and the chip amp is remarkably good too. Overall 10/10, would highly recommend. If you want to build a racklet, let me know - I have a few feet of rail left over.

Why don't you put the speakers up on those speaker stands??
