Where to begin! The local PCA Potomac volunteers truly outdid themselves. There was a Kona Ice truck there for crying out loud! Just a spectacular event. With a record number of racers signed up this event could have been frustrating for many. But it wasn’t because there are so many dedicated and talented people working to make sure everything went smoothly. From the giveaways to the paddock arraignment to the food choices to making the sponsors feel special and especially the grid. Just awesome.
Now let’s talk about me: Scott Belles got me fair and square in sprint 1 so I erased that video. He is free to gloat and post his videographical documentation of his triumph if he likes but I will not watch it. All kidding aside, he made a great move and once he was past me he made zero mistakes that would give me the opportunity to pass him back. Great driving by Scott all weekend. I was determined not to let it happen in Sprint 2. After an astonishing start (Bob said it was idiotic or genius he wasn’t sure) I never looked back. P1 And I won the enduro too. Not a bad result. Always fun to see the regulars. A shout out to Mark Francis for his return to club racing. Great job. You didn’t crash John’s car. Also thanks to Steve Wilson for his support (fewer insults than usual thank you) and we cannot forget the boy, Robbie Wilson’s clinching of several titles this weekend was fun to watch. Scott was there of course but he was not helpful. Below you will find links to videos of my victories. BTW, maybe this needs a different thread but I actually do not have video of sprint 1 because my %^$#@*&^%$@#^&&%^$& Go Pros got all %^%@@%&*^$# up! I am trying to run two cameras off one remote. The question is are the newer GoPro’s any better or is there any other option besides a million dollar smarty cam? Sprint 2 Enduro

Pretty awesome weekend for me, as this was my first race weekend with PCA. I managed to qualify P1 in SP1, won the first race, second in the 944Cup race, and overall win for the region award. I also got the "Green Group" Worker's Choice award.
For those who don't remember, I brought this old ride From Ryan Wright and brought it back to life and she's now Orange and Carbon. https://dorkiphus.net/porsche/showth...light=Chevelle |

TAKE ME BACK TO CLUB RACE! I wish it were a week-long event.
Seriously though, thanks all for the kind words. The whole team worked really hard all year to put on an event the region could be proud of. Loved seeing all your smiling faces.

Well what to say.
First off what a great event. From the volunteers, and Pat and everyone else that put on the show and made all this possible thank you for all the hard work. This is always the best club race of the year. As for the racing well it when pretty well... for those that don't already know It was a crazy weekend and an even crazier last 3 races to wrap up the season. I wasn't even sure if I would be at the track Friday (school) but was able to to get there Thursday night. Friday I had one thing on my mind, get my track record back! With that in mind the first session I went to grid very early so I could get some clear track. Some how (still not really sure how it happened) I pulled together a 1.22.7. As you can hear from the video I was pretty excited about it . I knew going into the weekend that I would have some thought competition with Josh and the Canadians. Unfortunately for them they struggled with car issues. In the end I was able to walk away with the big trophy and national championship I can’t thank everyone enough from my dad/ crew chef to Sloan at Ssi for the help with my new suspension and everyone else that was there along the way and cheering me on (even if you hate to admit it). Thank you https://youtu.be/n7NnYpv_oXM and I will probably be pretty unbearable for the next several month so I apologize in advance

Entry and speed through every corner were stout. Much more controlled than some previous fast time videos. Keep it up.
